Hazardous Substances, Site Remediation, and Enforcement
What You Will Learn
This two-day course of study gives its registrants the opportunity to acquire an in-depth understanding of the laws governing hazardous substances, as well as up-to-date information on federal enforcement of statutes regulating them and remediation actions.
This year's presentation (the 26th) includes several new features. In addition to sessions on Superfund litigation and site remediation, there will be panels on allocating Superfund response costs, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), and international environmental issues. The course again includes a session on nanotechnology, first introduced into the program in 2006.
This course is filled with fresh information, insights, and practical tips of great value to anyone working in the field.
